In the context of the exhibition VOICES by the artists Martine Pinnel and Georges Goerens, CAPE invites in collaboration with the association Finkapé to a discussion evening on the subject "Artivism - its opportunities and dangers". The exhibition VOICES, which is dedicated to the problematic of racial injustice in Luxembourg, will be up for debate during the discussion with the racialized artists Jennifer Lopes Santos (Papaya) and Marlee Dos Reis (Imani). The moderation will be done by Antonia Ganeto of Finkapé. The discussion will revolve around the questions: why do political art? What are the motivations and what are the dangers? How to implement such a project without taking the place of racialized people?
The discussion will lead into the creative process, the different perspectives and questions related to it.
